Launch 2006 Cricket Wireless leapt into the Portland market on December 11, 2006 and hired Cindy Thompson Event Productions to develop and manage their launch events in Portland. The cellular phone service is unique and unconventional, providing a new kind of freedom to those who sign up for the service. The product launch in Pioneer Courthouse Square reflected this message, and featured an escape artist who freed himself from a straight jacket while dangling 90 feet in the air. |
